Workshops/Residencies

Dan continues to inspire artists, teachers and students around the world in workshops where he demonstrates how to make Solarplates and printing both intaglio and relief plates. 

​As an original pioneer of safer and greener methods, he has been in the forefront of printmaking without the use of acids or other dangerous chemicals.

During Dan Welden’s 50+ year career as an artist and master printmaker, he has shown his work in more than 105 solo exhibits, and in over 600 group exhibitions across the United States and has traveled professionally doing workshops, lectures and shown the documentary film, “Lasting Impressions."
